I loved this book!
I adored Shaun and Susan, and my dislike of Ruth was fantastic.
Abby's narration was excellent as per usual...Shaun's voice was super sexy, for the record!

The voice over wasn’t great. Didn’t understand why Shaun had to sound so masculine. It wasn’t necessary.

Heart warming story with likeable characters. Except Ruth 😒 ugh. It has all the things that make Gerri Hill’s books enjoyable. Plus add another spectacular narration by Abby Craden. When I read the review that said the voice used for Shawn was too masculine, I was surprised. I found Shawn’s voice to be super sexy and I wish I could hire Abby Craden to voiceover my dreams and inner thoughts. Maybe then I would listen to myself more 🤔
