À propos de cet audio

This novella by NewYork Times bestselling author William R. Forstchen imagines a horrifying scenario where, in the course of one day, the terrorist group ISIS carries out massacres in schools and on highways across the United States. With a surprisingly small but well-organized and ruthless force, the nightmarish devastation brings America to a state of near paralysis.

Bob Petersen arrives with his daughter at the middle school in Maine where he teaches, expecting another regular day but worried about what recent ominous news reports might portend. Suddenly his school - along with many others across the United States - is under attack. Gunmen burst in, slaughtering children and adults alike.

From the ISIS leader in Syria to the murderous rampages throughout the States, Day of Wrath reveals with chilling effect how national panic and paralyzing terror can bring a mighty country to a near standstill. Petersen's fight to save lives and stop the merciless gunmen provides edge-of-your-seat drama. This provocative work should stimulate an intense national debate.

a gut wrenching story with a lot of truth behind it, some reviews on here are clearly politically motivated but putting hurt feelings aside, this is a great story, hard to listen to at times and a stark warning about the real threat of extremists. History shows us this isn't truly a fiction, but rather a sad prediction of an inevitable future.

not for the faint of heart

Good story, some inaccuracies, a very plausible (and terrifying) story. No idea what I'd do in this situation (but I'll probably think about it)

Stark warning

Author says in the beginning, I didn't want to write this book, and you don't want to read it.
I listened non stop, it's shocking, brought tears to my eyes, and angered me. Be prepared.

Speechless, I don't know what to say.

Couldn't stop listening, after I started.

The possibility of something like this happening, makes it extremely scary.

F*#$ made me cry.

As this was written in 2014 I have to wonder about the authors thoughts today.
Replace ISIS with Proud Boys, after Uvalde we know there is no such thing as a good guy with a gun, and I don’t see much difference with praying to Allah and praying in the Capital before the rioters looked to hang Mike Pence or desecrate the building before wiping feces on the wall. Total ‘what if’ fabrication that the home grown terrorists took to heart. Also talks about useless reality show ‘stars’ then in real life went on to support is most craven on all. Propaganda garbage.

Absolute garbage
