The depiction of mental illness and the heartbreak of adoption was beautifully done. This is the second book I’ve read of hers and her style flows perfectly to sync all the characters together.

I really enjoyed this book. The story is sad but heartwarming at the same time. Well worth the read/listen.
My only comment is one shared by many; there are changes in the audio that are very distracting and I assume, not intentional.
Other than that this was a great book! The characters became real to me. Well done!

Brilliantly engaging

A good read with a few twists that made my jaw drop. Some very emotional moments that makes you really connect with the characters. The voice actors were great, however the audio was weird many times which affected the flow of the story for me.

Really great audiobook. I enjoyed how the storyline flips from past to present, building the story and characters. The performance was really well done, the book was really well read and the voices were pleasant to listen to and fit the characters.
