I loved everything about this book! Fun, funny, poignant, authentic, unpredictable, rich with vivid characters. Emmie is a great everyday hero. Don’t wait, listen without delay.

I was captivated with this story, I felt as if I was right there with Emmie, feeling every emotion and cheering her on. The character development is so good, and Katy did a really good job with the narration, I couldn’t believe all the voices she did. My one critic, however, is that there is quite a lot of swearing and crude sexual comments, so if you are sensitive to that you may want to avoid. However getting past it, the story is so beautiful and has become one of my most loved listens.

In comparison to our North American counterparts, I am consistently impressed with the storylines and characters of contemporary UK romance authors. There is always a lot of substance to the characters and their respective histories. I loved this book. It kept me engaged until the last page. So sweet.
