But when the aged Ms. Haverhill dies in an apparent suicide, no one remains to resist the Scot’s advances except Wolfe. better then I expected

this was the first Nero Wolfe I have heard from this author. I'm happy to have a fresh case, sounds very similar to the originals

Great

What is better than a good old mystery. Nero wolf stories are some of the best ever. Read this to see why they are so good the narrator is good and the characters are well developed read for yourself a send see!!

Good mystery read

Enjoyed the reconstruction of the Nero and Archie characters by Goldsborough. The details of the newspapers business seemed really well done. Not surprising as Goldsborough was a journalist.
Narration was excellent.
Going to get the rest of the series!
