A marvelous character portrait of a woman wrestling with guilt or the lack of it over her disinterest in her dying husband's fate. The fantasy elements--a confessional booth in the woods--give her an arena within which she may fight her worst impulses, or possibly fight for them. Very interesting and the story keeps your attention. Dark thoughts and emotions are on full display here. Very good ending.
