Publisher's Summary

Only through blood can the deepest redemption be found....

He was born to ascend.

He was destined to lead.

He was never meant to fail.

Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.

Cain has sacrificed everything for his people. He left the safety and security of his life of study to infiltrate the infamous Hades Hangmen. He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear....

But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her. As the connection between them grows, so does Cain's resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves....

Even if the battle takes him to the gates of hell itself.

Contemporary dark romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up.

Dark Road To Redemption......

..... Paved With Blood, Sweat and Tears!

Wow! I knew going in this would be an intense dark emotional roller coaster, but Cole surpassed my expectations! These characters journey will make you feel so many emotions from anger, sadness, hurt, disbelief to love, peace, and forgiveness. This story definitely comes with trigger warnings for child and sexual abuse. It's dark, well written with excellent world building, and surprising plot twists.

I really enjoyed the first three stories in the series, and book for was no exception, but I really didn't know I would feel about a HEA for Rider/Cain. He's been an important character throughout the story causing turmoil, and known for his lies, deceit, and blind eye. Cole did an amazing job turning his character from one I truly disliked, to one I could feel empathy for. He is still my least favorite character in the series; however, I'm curious on the direction, and role Rider will play in the next book.

The narration was great! Both Athena Pappas and J.F. Harding really delivered on all the emotions throughout the story. Great story, well worth the time and credit!

Series keeps getting better and better

This has to be one of my favorite series of all time. I get so entranced in the books, I just can't stop listening. This one featured Ryder and Harmony. I have been looking forward to Ryder's story since book one and could not wait to get into it. Picking up where book 3 left off, Ryder is in a cell, which is where he meets Harmony, a cursed woman of Eve. What happens throughout this book is hot, sexy, horrifying, tragic, unbelievable and so incredibly captivating that the earbuds just would not come out. Each scene held a twist, a turn, an emotion that made you cringe, smile and cry.

The narrators of this book, JF Harding and Athena Pappas are magic together. I cannot wait until book 5.

The intro to this book left a foul taste. 🤮

Cain still has a lot to atone for and not sure I'd ever forgive him. Hrmm parts of this were not satisfying, probably because it's too realistically cowardly. 🤬 The wives are badass!!! ❤❤❤❤ *swoon* in luuuurve with Styx and Flame 🥰🤪
Trigger warnings for...don't actually remember any, other than implied, discussed, or as a memory but those include rape, pedophilia, and abuse. The desensitization is strong with this one >me<.

Insanely good series

Though this series is written with a lot of vulgar and different from acceptable language, the story under it all is phenomenal. The author has an innate talent for gaining sympathies for hardened criminals who kill and don't bat an eye at their rigid code of conduct. The story is wicked and brutal but also profoundly protective and forgiving. The spell cast over the reader/listener is encompassing and magical. I am enthralled by the deeply protective love experienced by the cursed women and despite the violence of the MC, I would read every line again because I am lost inside this world and can't get enough of the guilty pleasure.

REDEMPTION

This series has become one of my absolute favorites.

I loved learning more about Cain and he choices throughout his life. I wasn’t sure how this book would play out m, but man, I cried.

SPOILERS!!!!!

What Judah has does to Cain makes me so mad. All he ever wanted was his brothers position and used him. Im glad that Cain finally accepted his name Rider. Finally accepted that place was not good. When he met Harmony in the cells and they became friends I knew it would be good. The way the defectors worked to get Harmony and Rider out of that place made me so happy.

Once you learn that Harmony is Bella, Stephen is the girls father, Ruth is Rider’s mom. WOW.

FIRST OFF - GO OFF BELLA. The way she calls out the Hades men and how they fully believe in their girls but not Rider. Like I get what he did was super wrong, but she is right to stand up to them. I am so happy that Mae, Lilah, and Maddie stood my Bella’s side and stood up to Styx, Ky, Flame and the other men. THEY DESERVE TO BE HEARD.

I love this series.

Redemption, secrets and so much heartache....

After reading the first three books in the Hades Hangmen series I thought I was prepared for whatever was going to happen. I didn't think it could get worse. I didn't think there could be more. I just didn't think apparently...

My first thoughts going into this book were along the lines of "Cain doesn't deserve redemption." and "I don't think I am going to be able to forgive him." He did horrid things, things that ended him up as an enemy not only to The Hangmen but to his people as well. I can't recall a book ever making me adjust my feelings towards a character more than Deep Redemption.

The emotions I experienced towards Cain and the book itself were powerful. From the very start I knew that this book could destroy me, and it almost did. One part specifically, I never could have seen that coming. While this book was filled with plot twists, unexpected revelations, and redemption it was very much the epitome of a lost soul trying to find his way to something.

I can't really say much else because it would give away everything. Read this series in order, this isn't one of those books you can read as a standalone. Everything that conspired in the first three books in this series led to this book. Led to Cain's ending or is it his beginning. The Hades Hangmen might go down as one of the best series I have ever read, and I can't wait to see what is up next for the rest of the guys in the club.

Honestly at this point I can't imagine anyone else narrating as Cain or Stix than J.F. Harding. The way he is able to draw you in with his different voices always leaves me awestruck. I haven't checked yet, but I do hope he will be brought onto to continue with the rest of this series.

Well written storyline

Except some of the loose ends towards the end were tied up cheaply. As far as the narration, the male narrators were great. The female narrator was monotone & robotic. She lost the character’s accent with the inner dialogues but the accent would pop-up in conversation. Still think it worth the credit.

Rider and Bella

I'm completely awestruck. This a deeply captivating, intense, exhilarating journey to go on. Rider and Bella are two people who have been manipulated by their teachings, fighting together for all the chaos to stop but their road is not easy at all. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, I cannot even describe how much I enjoyed this story. Narration was perfection!
