Her latest book,”Deep Water Dream” describes her experiences as a family doctor in the frigid north. Living on an island at first, she needed to learn to drive a tin boat and a snowmobile to get to work. Against a backdrop of obstacles like no running water, and roads closing due to vicious weather the book sparkles with stories of human resilience and grace. It’s a real page turner. I could not put it down.
