Publisher's Summary

Looking to become an expert deer hunter? What I aim for in this book is to help keep you from sounding like an idiot when you go hunting for your first time and to keep you from shooting yourself in the foot or your neighbor in his backside. Hopefully, after listening to this, you'll also be able to best pick the people you want to hunt with and the ones you want to avoid being around while they have guns. Maybe you're wondering if hunting deer is right for you, and if that's the case in the next chapter I want to talk a little about the sport and some other aspects of it. Learn how to hunt like a pro and shoot like a sniper! Also, you'll discover...

  • How to track deer effectively
  • Packing tips to save you time and energy
  • How to be a better shooter
  • And much more!

Don't dismiss this book if you are experienced.

I purchased this on a spur of the moment thing, and I am happy to say that I found a cool little resource.
Great for beginners and as an annual reminder.
This is a short but great listen. It'll help beginners or folks who are interested in or just started hunting.
As an experienced hunter, this is good review to remind you of the simple things you may have or likely forgotten.

Awful

Even if you know nothing about hunting, listening to this book would not be helpful. 1 star for a bit of comic relief.

Stab myself in the ear

Couldn’t stand listening to this, readers inflection and tone drove me nuts. Being a novice hunter, some Of the advice was just ridiculous “don’t dear hunt with a pistol” like come on now. If this was meant for someone who has never thought about hunting or attended a hunter’s safety course, ok maybe but if you’re looking for advice on how to actually get out and start hunting, maybe try another book. Just my opinion.

shouldn't be a book

ready for topics like "buy ammo, do you have enough ammo?". A whole chapter on, "do you have cameras? set them up." "getting ready. Start shooting, get your butt up and head to the range". I'm not joking. Shouldn't be a book, more of a pamphlet and still I would use it for kindling before reading it.
