I love that the FMC is not a pushover. She may go along with some things or hold back at first but she has a backbone and stands up for herself. And the book has a very serious and mature tone.
This book has a similar vibe to one of my favorite books I've reread many times, but it is in a different omegaverse world, thus, a different story. Really enjoying this one, too.

I found that I lost interest a lot because the inner monologues ran a lot. So when reading I jumped paragraphs. It’s a very slow burn (no actual spice until end of second part)
Unfortunately, it is a forgettable book. I found myself losing what the characters looked like because the descriptions of them were not memorable.
A cute palate cleanser books though.
