Publisher's Summary

I’d found God in her eyes and a prayer in the subtle way she moaned. I found my soul, the spirit of humanity between her thighs. Devilish temptress or holy angel, I would have her all to myself.

Nothing could happen to her, ever. Not one scratch. Not one frown on her face.

I would kill to make her happy.

From Harlem to Prague, Moscow to St. Petersburg, Kazimir and the Harlem Crew are ready to destroy all enemies in their path. But some foes hide well within the shadows, and not everyone that’s with them is a friend.

In Part II of The Lion and the Mouse, there are hearts to protect, blood debts to repay, and several deadly games to end.

Contains mature themes.

Peele’s Russian accent was awful

I have read both books in the series and enjoyed them very much but the narration in the audible version makes this difficult to listen to. Evans did a great job with voice acting and accents but I dreaded the chapters that Peele narrated. I would love a re-recording of this will Ellis only, or with Peele bringing her accent in line with Ellis’s, or a new narrating partner for Ellis entirely.

Love the clash of the worlds

The action and love scenes are vivid. The words encapsulates the reader inside the lives of the Russians and the Harlem crew.. waiting on Ava and Mischa’s story.

Russian 💘 Love

Loved book one and book two. I hope there is a book three. I truly liked all of the characters. Kashmir and Emily relationship is beautiful. I truly liked the way he cared for her. I recommend both books. Enjoy, because I loved the series😍.

Good performance

It’s always interesting when you have different languages involved. Both narrators did an excellent job and if you are already a fan of the books you will enjoy.

And fun was had by all...

Story was good and didn't drag ( unlike Wright's other story "Power"). Narration was wonderfully done. Characters felt like actual flawed people, sex scenes were teasing or hot, and my confidence has been restored with this author. The ending could have been smoother but it was probably best that it wasn't dragged out (wish we had seen the paternity results, oh well). Bonus short story was sweet...and short.

Great story and very sexy

Really enjoyed the story and narration. There is a short story at the end and it was icing on the cake. There is excellent tension in the story that keeps the momentum going. Had everything I wanted!! Never thought Russian men were sexy - until this. Putting it on my purchase list

Excellent!!!

I am so glad this book came across my recommendations. I hate that I took so long to listen to it. The story was great and had a bit of everything. It's a BWWM love/murder story. There's suspense, love scenes that burn up the pages and a narrator's voice that is absolutely spectacular. Great listen and well worth the credit!

Wow!

Death, destruction, & revenge. The continuation of Dirty Kisses didn't miss a beat. Kenya Wright knows how to craft a story

It could have been better.

This could have been better. Then it crashed and burned. It is not worth the credit.
