I really enjoyed this story. I love a good friends to lovers story and then on top of that a single mom! These two are the best of friends but because Rux makes it very clear he never wants kids and never to get married (a past experience has been scared of those things). She doesn’t look at him in a romantic way. One night after a hockey game he saves her from a horrible date. One kiss leads to feelings of lust and excitement. They keep their feelings on the down low in front of her son. Her ex is back on the scene and making his feelings known. So much that it makes Rux think he should give the mom and dad a chance, while breaking their hearts. It is a happily ever after in the end, don’t worry!! Such a great series and the narration is so good!!
