Publisher's Summary

Camila was 17 when Van Quiso kidnapped her. Ten years after her escape, the shackles refuse to release her. Not while there are still slave traders preying on her city.

She will stop at nothing to end them. Even if that means becoming a slave again.

Returning to chains is her worst fear - and only option. They won’t know who she is or what she intends to do. She’s prepared for every complication.

Except him. The one who decimated her 16-year-old heart.

Matias is charming, gorgeous, and dangerously seductive. He’s also untrustworthy and enshrouded in secrets. After years of no contact, he finds her - on her knees, wrists bound, in the clutches of her enemy.

Will he sabotage her mission by needlessly saving her?

Or will he keep her in chains and never let her go?

HEA with no cliffhanger.

Still amazing, but Camila could have been more.

There was much less sex in this book than the others from my recollection, it seemed to be much more plot driven. Along that same vein, it seemed as if Camila spent the entire book just trying to catch up with what was actually going on and it did her a disservice as such a strong and intelligent character to constantly be fumbling in the dark for 3/4 of the story. She's missing the most important pieces of the puzzle because Matias wants her to love him for him rather than for his own pursuits, which was sort of lame if you ask me. An alpha like him should have been able to accept that she chose him time and time again and explain the truth earlier than he did. It's a foregone conclusion that she would love the man she knew and grew up with as a boy. Even so, the writing was no less stellar and the characters no less complex. I would LOVE to read a story about Frizz, I was very mucj intrigued by his character and would love to see how he could be healed and help heal another.

Misses something

I wanted to give this 4 stars but I didnt much like the heroine and I feel this book missed something. It is good but not Kresley Cole good. I kind of detest the official bdsm elements because I like dark and non consent but I am not interested in the official rules of kinky which always only sound ridiculous. I like it criminal and dirty and all bets off.

Love!!!

Pam Godwin's stories always pulls every emotion from me. The Deliver series is no exception. I have lost a lot of sleep devouring every word and have no regrets! She chose the perfect narrators for each of the books/characters. This is a 5+ star for me. I can't wait for more to be released on audio!

The cartel story

I've been intrigued by Canola and her cartel connections since the first book without realizing just how tragic her own story was. This was a great addition to the series
