Publisher's Summary

Detective Austin Michaels didn't think life could get any better after he was accepted into the most notorious narcotics task force on the East Coast, headed up by two of the baddest Lieutenants with the Atlanta Police Department - Cashel Godfrey and Leonidis Day.

Michaels knew he would fit right in as the team's sniper, having received his fair share of commendations for marksmanship. He was just as badass as the rest of the twenty brothers that made up their team. But when Michaels lets their prime suspect get away from a huge bust with over a quarter of a million dollars in drugs, he's willing to do whatever it takes to make it right.

Left with no other options, God chooses to bring in outside help, calling on his long-time friend and bounty hunter, Judge Josephson.

Judge was considered one of the best trackers during his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. After retiring, he used those skills to become one of the most sought out fugitive trackers in the country. When Judge gets a call from his old friend needing his help, he quickly tells God, yes.

Contains mature themes.

This series absolutely blows my mind!

5 Blue Roses
5 Blue Flames

The stories in each book are different and yet so perfectly laid out and predictable. The plot holds my attention 100%. I love these guys tremendously, I'm already lying awake at night worrying about the time I will not hear more of the Nothing Special Series.

Detective Michaels is a loner and he has the softest kindest heart under his rough exterior. He was accepted into the most notorious narcotics task force, which consists of the most feared, and yet fair Rambo meets XXX team with the Atlanta Police Department. I recommend to listen to these audiobooks in reading order.

Michaels is lonely, he would rather work his ass off to be part of the elite team. He has been single without any action in the bedroom for a year. He is the team's sniper, and very good at it. After he loses one of their prime suspects who got away with over a quarter of a million dollars in drugs, he teams up with God's long-time friend and bounty hunter, Judge Josephson.

Judge is a retired tracker from the US Marines. He is now a private professional tracker/bounty hunter. He has a Great Dane, and together they hunt criminals. Michaels and Judge starts out rough, and Judge instantly feels like taming the wild Michaels. Let the good times roll! These two wrestle each each other for domination. I wish I was a fly on the wall. The sex scenes are hot and original. Aiden brings it all to life. It was yummy! Definitely 5 scorching hot Blue Flames!

The narrator: Aiden is one of my favourite narrators. He has a deep, sexy voice. His alpha gruff tone raise the hair on my arms. He doesn't only read a book, he performs. I hope to hear more from him in the LGBT genre. His M/M is just perfect and I can listen to him all day. He does not hurt my ears and he definitely doesn't irritate the crap out of me. I regularly look him up, he also does fantastic paranormal romances.
I recommend this audiobook.
Happy Listening.

Great Series

Judge and Michael’s story is full of heat and action. A great continuation of the series. Highly recommend that you listen to all of the previous books before this one.

Fabulous

Maybe I'm spoiled by the sexy narrator. Maybe I'm addicted to A.E. Via.
But this entire series kept me on my toes. Loved it lots.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

This is Book 4 but it is different in its own way. Interesting storyline, well written. I really like the characters in this series. There was maybe too much sex in this story but overall still good.

Don’t Judge

Lovers of this series will love the audiobooks! The narrator does a good job with lots of characters. It’s funny how listening to them is so different than reading them.

Don't Judge, Nothing Special 4

Judge and Michaels

OK. So you have to remember Michaels from Ruxs’ and Green’s book, “Here Comes Trouble”. He’s the sweet beat cop who was always trying to get onto the Task Force and who made it onto the team at the end of their book.

Well... I totally fall in love with him in this book. He’s got all this pent-up rage and emotions that come barreling out of him when Judge pushes all his buttons. He is a total Power Top & Bottom - it literally blows your mind with how seductively dirty he can be. But I didn’t see that side of him coming. Uggghhh.

He and Judge have the best chemistry, and I think it makes the book better that they don’t have an instant love connection. They have to both work for it. They have to work at even liking each other to start, and then work at being partners on the job before they can be anything else to each other.

This book is great. I love the storyline and I love these guys. Judge’s dog, Bookem, is awesome too. I love that he is an added character in this book. Another great addition to the series.

8/23/19 ~ Update to review after listening to the audio...
Audio ~ At this point I really can't tell you how many times I've read this book. It's one of my all time favorites (along with every other book in this series) But WOW does Aiden Snow give us so much extra with this Audio. I was hearing things I completely forgot about. It was almost like I was experiencing this book for the first time all over again. I absolutely loved this book in audio. And I'm back to not being able to decide which book of this series is actually my favorite again. lol. And I'll reiterate again that Aiden was the ABSOLUTE PERFECT, BEST CHOICE to narrate all of these books. 5 Full, solid Stars for the narration too.

Austin and Judge are hot!

Love these men. Once again this author has hit it out of the park with this book and Aiden Snow is the perfect narrator for these men. Austin is having some anger issues and screws up a bust or thinks he does so they call in an expert tracker, Judge. They are really hot together and Judge's partner Bookem is terrific. All the guys are in here and we get a bit of the team but not too much. These guys do get their HEA.

The best one yet!!!

Oh wow I just loved everything about this book! Judge and Austin were wonderful together. Both strong, alpha men who just completed each other perfectly. The storyline was great, the chemistry was off the charts and all the boys were back in this fourth installment (with a wonderfully snarky Day that had me in stiches). Oh and that epilogue...I cannot wait for the next book! Once again, Aiden Snow was perfection as a narrator and brought all these men to life! He has given each of the men their own voice and does it so well I know who is speaking without having to be told. I could listen to him read me the phonebook!

brings the characters to life

It has been a while since I read this series for the first time. Now that they are available in audio I am extremely happy to revisit one of my favourite police task forces. Since "Here comes Trouble" I was wondering who Austin Michaels would be paired up with and I think that A.E. Via didn't disappoint. Judge is a fierce believer of doing things his way and alone. Once he has to partner with Michaels, he has to adjust and find a way to combine his instincts with Michaels' skills. I loved the way Aiden Snow brings those two to life. The gruff Judge and the more focused Michaels seem to to this precious dance around each other, two guys attracted to each other but not willing to compromise their professional attitude until the emotions are too intense to be ignored. Can't wait to hear the next book.
