Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best seller Kendall Ryan comes a delicious new standalone romance featuring an accidental Vegas wedding and a totally perfect alpha hero.

Remember that time you accidentally woke up in Vegas married to your hot younger guy friend?

That's basically my life right now.

Mistakes were made, okay?

He's too young for me. Twenty-three to my 30. And he's saving himself for the right girl.

Yup. Apparently, I've married the last alpha-male virgin on the planet. And my stubborn, oddly traditional new husband doesn't want a divorce.

He wants me.

Complicated doesn't even begin to cover it.

Down and Dirty is a sexy romp with a hero you'll melt for and a relatable, sassy heroine you'll love. If you’re a fan of steamy romances with laugh-out-loud moments, grab yourself a copy - you won't regret it!

So beautiful

This book was so beautiful.

A true love story.

Jacob as usual was hot and sexy.

This was the first narration I’ve heard with Emma. She did a fine job, and the male voice was kind of sexy in a raspy sort of way.

One of the best books in the series.

Loved Landon, her, not so much

I really looked forward to the release of this book, but I was let down while reading it. I thought the character of Landon was wonderful, he was caring and just wanted the best for Aubree. Her, I did not like her at all. I was so angry with her so many times. She belittled him, humiliated him and often made him feel like crap. Really if it were a real-life situation there would have been no HEA.

It was almost a DNF for me. Aubree was driving me crazy. I just hated seeing what she was doing to him. He was an absolute doll. He should have been the immature one being only 23, but really the immature one was her.

Narration, perfect. Who doesn't love listening to Jacob Morgan, I love the way he brings the male characters to life. Emma Wilder does have a more mature voice, which made her the perfect choice for Aubree. I won't hold it against her for how Bree was. I think the narrators are what got me through this.

Worth the credit, I don't know. I wanted to listen to it, but know I will never listen to it again. It is so disappointing when the rest of the series has been fantastic so far.

Sounds like a pretty good idea to date my husband!

I mean who doesn’t love a hot virgin hockey player and a quickie Vegas wedding. As in Jacob Morgan’s voice that is literally all you need in life. I’m really happy that the whole younger guy thing didn’t get over played. I was worried we might have a Jessica from Love is Blind situation. It was handled so well in this I loved Aubrey she was such a strong independent fierce woman who eventually handled her virgin like a pro. The chemistry was on fire. I loved the friend group. It made the story so much more fun. I won this audio and am so happy I got to enjoy it.

Glad I purchased

I was unsure about this book based on other people's reviews. People didn't like the heroine and I will admit that early on I wasn't fond of her, but she grew on me and ultimately she just was trying to figure it all out. I really enjoyed the book!

backward spontaneous love

enjoying getting to see each person develop in the series.

the voice choices were great.

he is such a nice man. love his story and the virgin part of it.

i know the author was trying to touch on age difference. but it came off as her being a imature rude person.

only in the end does he get the respect.

really like the series.

Yeah, no, a let down… 😬

So, the book started well BUT Aubrey, like most heroines is a selfish, immature and a thoughtless person. I was excited to finally hear about a heroine that’s not barely legal but she’s acted so immature that a 23 year old “inexperienced’ man comes off more mature? Almost embarrassed for her… glad it wasn’t real life because it may have ended badly and to be honest I just felt really bad for London, the whole book! she’s using his mouth and the take take take she was doing… expecting honesty but justifying her not sharing important info felt a little shitty to me. Especially for a 30 year old… a 30 year old this immature? I think this is where she should have been 21 or even 19 with her actions 🙄🙄🙄 so fake too…. Like listening and I can’t stand the heroine 😩

I seriously consider stopping listening because I want to hear about women who know what they want, can’t complain about not finding a right person then acting weird when the right thing comes along 🙄🙄 she was infuriating to listen t9 and felt sad for London…
It’s a shame I decided to download THIS book for the cabin trip now I’m stuck… I hope it changes or London gets to fall for someone else who actually wants him but that will not be the plot twist I suspect…

Ok, because cabin, I ended up listening to the end… I want to know more about Ana… my feelings about Aubrey did not change BUT to be fair, if this is your first or you’re just dropping your toe into romantic books, it may be good… for those who have veered into dark romance this will feel so vanilla and also annoying because Audrey is much too old to be acting the way she was portrayed in this book.

Narration: Emma Wilde was alright and I suspect this because the character was so cringe BUT Jacob Morgan is always, always superb.

Worth a credit? 50/50 (I like Kendall Ryan, otherwise I would say 70/30) depending on what I’ve written above, you decide…

Covi is so sweet.

In love with this series, sad that I just found it. Reading every book back to back. That's the benefit of founding it after it was done. Looking forward to the other books. Ready for Grant's story.

It is a romance between an older woman, younger guy novel, and Kendall Ryan made it sizzling hot, spicy. Regardless the difference in the age of the characters, she is so wrapped up in the age situation that sometimes he sounds older than her. That is all that matters in the end that they understand each other. Will she be able to open her eyes and understand this, or will her prejudice, sadly, in the 21st century will drive him away.

Glad I Kept Listening

I’ve listened consecutively to each book in this series and thought Justin and Elise’s story was and would continue to be my favorite—enter swoon-worthy Landon Covington. Seriously…he’s the irresistibly, tender-hearted hero that you need, who’ll send your imagination into overdrive and make you go all giddy.

Jacob Morgan’s wonderfully alluring voice really does it for me in this one and perfectly captures Landon’s endearing, yet alpha, personality. Conversely, from the beginning, Emma Wilder’s voice turned me off of Aubrey’s character through out most of the book, only slightly recovering in the end. Her voice seemed too mature and not as carefully matched for the character of Aubrey. In saying this, it was still worth continuing and I’m happy I did keep listening, as this book in the series has become my favorite!

While Down and Dirty can be read as a stand alone book, I feel that already “knowing” the other characters really added something to the story that a listener/reader would not otherwise get without having read the first few titles in this series. Either way, I totally recommend listening or reading!

I like this series, but…

I’m only 2/3 through, and I’ll finish because I like the series.. but Aubree is no heroine. She’s a shitty, selfish person. I’ll might make some edits to this when I’m finished, but I REALLY do not like her. Yeah.. Landon is not the brightest bulb in the box, but he is sweet and has good intentions. He deserves so much better. She better do some serious groveling for this man.

Hot Virgin Athlete who knows exactly what he wants

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love getting the perspective of a make virgin for the change. I loved how the story unfolded and developed along the way. Of course having Jacob Morgan narrate for male lead only made it that much more sensual so definitely a bonus!
