I suffered for 25 years from chronic low back pain and Colitis. Of course, no cure from the medical industry, so I read Healing Back Pain from Dr Sarno and then Steve's books on the subject of TMS for my low back issues, not even focusing on the Colitis. In two months I was pain free and disease free and have been for two years now.

I waited two years to write this review to make sure it was real. I am so thankful to Steve and Dr. Sarno.

This book is one of the most important healing books of our time. A great tribute to the late Dr. John Sarno, this book, and all of Steve's books are a must read if you suffer from any pain or illness.

You have exhausted all the other medical routes, so why not be open minded and read Healing Back Pain from John Sarno and then read any or all of Steve's books. You have absolutely nothing to lose...except your pain and illnesses!!

Dr Sarnio was a true “Steve Jobs of Pain management (or should I say recovery) of the 21st century! He attempted to break though the trackings of the mainstream medical teachings and was a true humanitarian and hero of our time. I never met or heard him speak in person but his theories have a profound affect on anyone that is open minded enough to listen to and accept it! Please , please be open minded to listen and implement his findings and you will not be disappointed! He was a true genius that will go down in history as a modern day Sigmund Freud ! Please have an open mind and engage his findings!

I wish it had more practical information but as an introduction to Dr Sarnos work is OK.
It's worth the listening even tgough I expected more.
Now I'll listen/read The Mindbody Prescription by the Dr himself.

If you think you won’t go through Dr Sarno’s book, then once you have passed the incredibly boring AI voice that’s talking for way too long at the beginning, it may be a good summary.
Given that I had already read all of Dr Sarno’s books, I found this one of no additional value and wouldn’t buy it again.
