I loved the magic system and the characters in this book. It’s quite interesting and very much reminded me of a Brandon Sanderson style story.

The store line was good but I had a hard time getting into it. I think it’s more due to the narrator he seemed like he was just reading the pages not invested like other readers. It’s ok but I won’t be reading the second book.
