It’s okay

Book 2 was about the first book’s female protagonist’s best friend another scientist who is looking for love.

Well on the outside of the city without telling anyone she was taken by another one of the dragon like aliens. He looks a little different apparently the fighter ones in book 1 have different colouring than this one who is kind of a more intellectual one.

They fall in love and then he spots the bad orange looking alien race that are slavers with a ship not far from the city so they have to warn everyone what he saw.

The two aliens fought at first but then worked together, some human men are jealous of the alien men “taking” the females since there’s only maybe 1/4 females on the planet
