Publisher's Summary
For most, a plane crash means the end of life. For Dusti Dawson, it's just the beginning...Dusti and her sister Batina survived the crash, thanks to a couple of brothers who are equal parts menacing and muscled. She'd be grateful...if they hadn't turned out to be delusional kidnappers, who believe Dusti's grandfather is some monstrous halfbreed creature bent on murder. Turns out Vampires, Lycans, and Gargoyles do exist - and they've been crossbreeding to form two hybrid races. Drantos, the man Dusti can't stop lusting after, is one of the most dangerous of all.
VampLycans Drantos and Kraven were sent to eliminate a threat to their clan. But when that threat turns out to be mostly human women, clueless of their lineage, plans change - especially after Drantos gets a taste of Dusti's blood. Now, he'll die to protect her. Even if that means walking away from everything he knows to keep her at his side.
Is her strong desire for Drantos reason enough to endure danger coming from all sides? Or should Dusti cut and run the first chance she gets?
Author Note: VLG stands for Vampires, Lycans, Gargoyles...and breeds in between. Living in Alaska's harsh, pristine territories, these creatures live and love fiercely. These are their stories.

I'm excited
this was an excellent start to a serious I've heard good things about with an author who I've grown to love the world that's been created so far is fascinating and the relationship that's blooming and the one that's been hinted that I'm ecstatic to see as always laurann dohner provides strong character development with the sensuality that little managed to hit still grounded in the real world while being entirely fictitious and supernatural this is a lovely play on the world of vampires werewolves and gargoyles I can't wait to read more it has always I would highly recommend.

Odd pairings but fun snark
I more than a few times laughed out loud at the snarky comments made. Enjoyed it but didn't absolutely love it; I will, however, buy the next book in the series.

I wanted Tolliver it
I liked alot about this book and performance...but the parts I didn't made it a hard listen. The female lead was awful. The character was useless and whiney. The narrators voice when performing the female leed had a terrible tremble that was extremely iritating and added to the annoying ulikableness of Dusti....with an I....
that said she did excellent as Drantos and every other character so maybe the other books a better. not sure if I will bother finding out however
