The dark is tolerable. The spice is pretty good. The mystery isn't very mysterious. The character development is good but not deep enough. The story ideas are interesting. Although the characters are likeable, the story isn't long enough for the listener to fully experience the couple's story. If there was more emotional layering and some of the text flowed better, this book would be a hit. The narration was very good and aided in holding my attention. If only there was more, this book would have gotten another star.

Joe Arden never disappoints so well done I’m gonna listen to it again… would recommend it to anyone who wants to listen to an amazing narrator who takes the book to the next level
