Publisher's Summary
A short story from the NYT best-selling author of the Shacking Up series about a road trip that started with a broken-down car and ended with a questionable motel, an indoor campout, and a set of Kama Sutra sheets.
Nevah
I thought I was helping a damsel in distress.
Turns out my damsel was actually a hot guy with rock solid forearms, blue eyes reminiscent of an oasis in a desert, and some seriously bad luck.
Lawson
My day started with a bang.
The kind that left me stranded at the side of the road in the middle of the desert.
At least until a knight in shining armor shows up in a rusted-out convertible and saves the day. Said knight also happens to be a car savvy woman with legs for days, and a penchant for adventure.

I so wish this was a full novel. The characters and their chemistry was great. I was sad it ended.

Super cute!
This super quickie has all the elements of a longer book, but compacted it in a sweet and sexy way! No steps are missed in this HFN that could be the beginning of more? It was perfect and made me happy

Too short. I want more.
Story and narration was great.
Rose and Jacob were fantastic. Two of my favorites.
I really hope this is just a teaser and their story is told.
Story short and so is my review is also short.

Such high hopes
The narration was amazing and as usual it didn’t take long for Helena to have me super invested. But it doesn’t state this is a spin off or attached to another of her series till you are in it and they are name dropping a bunch of people from her one series I haven’t actually read yet. It’s a pain and a shame but I couldn’t enjoy what I know was supposed to be all these great name drops. It made me sad. But I do still wanna go back and read that series now.

Wish it had been longer
I loved these siblings from the Shacking Up series & would love for Nevah & Lawson to have their own full book.

Formulaic. boring.
Insanely hot rich dude gets stranded by classic car bought on impulse ( because rich)
Insanely hot rich girl with mechanical skills stops to help.
Said mechanical skills are not even used, she calls a tow for him, and the car is not mentioned again, having served it's purpose in the plot.
She offers him a ride, and they ended up boning in a disgusting motel room.
There, I've saved you a couple of hours .
They kinda tried to flip the usual gender roles formula for the genre, but a simple flip without anything else is not much to add interest.

Give me more!
This was a cute story and the narration by Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan was terrific. If you're looking for a fun little quickie, look no further! I'd love to see more of Nevah and Lawson, but I think this was great as-is.

Short but cute story
I really liked this. It’s definitely a short story but it didn’t disappoint. These are 2 of my favorite narrators which was a huge bonus.

Fun but too short!
I was so excited to see that Nev got her own story. Unfortunately, it was waaay too short - like, just stopped in the middle, short.
Really wish HH would finish this one, it has real potential.
