this book was an excellent second addition to the series, setting up very well for the next book. book 2 had us getting to know Ken's party better and better and learn more about what's going in the background. we learn more about what's going on with crimson and learn more about Ken's family. all in all I very much enjoyed the 2nd book, and will be reviewing thr 3rd when I get to it ^__^
