Publisher's Summary
A year and a half into our marriage, I found out my husband had been having an affair with a 19-year-old for six months. I filed for divorce and left.
Two weeks later I met a man, and we fell madly in love. It was a fairy-tale romance for a month and a half, and he convinced me to join him on a romantic month-long vacation in Italy. Forty-eight hours before we were supposed to get on a plane, he told me he needed to go by himself. I was devastated. So, I had a decision to make. Either stay home and be heartbroken, or go travel Europe for a month by myself. And staying at home heartbroken? F%*k. That.
What does a woman do when her life has fallen apart and her heart has been ripped out and stepped on twice in two months? She goes on a wild adventure, makes some bad decisions, and does a sh*t load of soul searching. But most importantly? She finds out how to love . . . herself.

repetitive, cliche, hypocritical.
don't waste your time with this book, it's not insightful and just overall a disappointing read.

Awful
Very disappointing. The main character seemed narcissistic and was not likeable. The story was okay. I would not recommend it.

vapid garbage
I can't even finish this. I was interested at first but it's just a vapid, biased recollection by a very young woman who has no perspective on what constitutes a real trauma. Waste of money

Shallow but still a fun ride
I travelled a lot in my life for both work and fun totalling approximately 15 years but she packed a lot of experiences in to that 1 month. I think this is a case of a young woman that is living well and as far as I can tell on schedule with life’s lessons (so as I am 51 and well-travelled found the events rather predictable but totally ok) the only difficulty I had with this ride was the painful reminder of how much we anchor our feelings in others’ behaviours! Oh so painful but completely understandable. I wish her well and hope she joins the evolved group that is able to truly live life on her own terms…which I’m is not within her grasp until she reads more, falls down more, and reads more again (or skip all that and just work on alignment)
She may enjoy Abraham Hicks’ teachings and it may help to accomplish what she is reaching for in her life. Good effort!

A lot of eye rolling
How did this get published? She has many first world problems that she has created for herself. A waste of time.

Great Story
Fantastic story and journey. I listened in 1.40 speed and found it better. The book was read quite slowly. Just a personal preference.

Wouldn't recommend
She literally read a ton of text messages throughout this book. Story about her personal life that was frustrating and not overly deep. Writing was very basic. I wouldn't recommend it

Okay
It was ok. Just okay. It took me forever to get through. Take it or leave it. Very "surface level", boring, drab. The beginning was good... then well I just finished the audiobook just to finish it.

Was an okay listen.
This book was okay if you just want a really light listen. It was like listening to someone in high school recount a story. Gabrielle comes across as very immature, self centered and drama driven. The best parts of the book were the descriptions of the places she visited.

Awful
This was a huge waste of mind space. Painful to listen to. This is a story about a girl who can’t get over an ex and slept her way through different countries. Which is not unique to her. There is no insightful information. Simple minded.
