Eddie is now a new favourite and most cherished character. His penchant to look for and always spot joy, love, and cheer is contagious. every character (except maybe Alistair) is lovable and relatable. The narrators did a fabulous job!

This story was quirky and entertaining like One Hundred Years and follows the same formula: old and young person become friends and learn from one another. I enjoyed it, but I was hoping for something more original. The male narrator sounded like he was trying to impersonate David Attenborough and that became quite irritating at times

The story is so sweet. It makes you walk through life as the characters experience live, friendship, hope and loss. The characters are so well developed, and the actors voicing the parts, particularly Birdie and Eddie, are wonderfully suited to the roles. This was well worth the time to read or listen to.
