First time on audio! The original novel that inspired the sci-fi blockbuster film starring Tom Cruise!
When the alien Mimics invade, Keiji Kiriya is just one of many recruits shoved into a suit of battle armor called a Jacket and sent out to kill. Keiji dies on the battlefield, only to be reborn each morning to fight and die again and again. On his 158th iteration, he gets a message from a mysterious ally - the female soldier known as the Full Metal Bitch. Is she the key to Keiji's escape or his final death?

Great
Loved it. Had seen the movie first and then heard about the book. Couldn't put it down and finished the audio book in two sittings

Good story. Good read
Other review said the voices were bad. They may have had different expectations. I thought it was good. Great story too.

Loved the book as much as the movie
The narrator uses nearly the same voice for every character which I didn't like. Other than that it was great!

Wrong voice from this book, bad experience
Why did they use a very deep and monotone voice. It is a war fiction, a story of a young Asian soldier who is scared to die during his first battle. We do not want to hear the voice of “Kratos” who has no fear.
I loved the book which I strongly recommend, but here the audio experience is so bad that we feel disconnected from the story.
