À propos de cet audio

Kai has returned to the estate to continue his apprenticeship. With the past debts settled and his family safe in Greenside, he is determined to learn spellcraft and find his path on Elydes under his teachers demanding guidance.

But not everything can be taught in a secluded bay.

The Guide rewards challenge and strife. Kai must travel outside of familiar places and meet people who might not have his best interests at heart.

In muddy alleys and gilded palaces, powerful forces are contending for the future of the Baquaire Archipelago. Voices whisper of dissent. Kai wishes nothing more than to mind his own business, but laying low has never been among his talents.

Book 2 of an Isekai LitRPG adventure about a young man with a second chance to find his true potential.

Featuring a detailed System with plenty of power progression, three-dimensional characters, slice-of-life elements, an intriguing world, and so much more!

MC is progressing slowly, but pacing is still good due to tasteful time skips, and MC's antics are really interesting. It's just the ending drags for too long - it's a big event with multiple PoVs (sometimes of the same time frame). Too much description of fight scenes, plus internal monologues, makes all of them sound a lot longer than they actually are, coupled with the fact that there are too many dramatic last-second rescues/wins, the big fights became tiresome rather than adding excitement. Also, it's a d*ck move to end the book right before MC makes an important decision in his progression (works pretty well though at getting me hyped for the next book)
