The final horseman awaits...and the stakes have never been higher.

With the birth of their son Asher, Harper and Knox are both more powerful and more vulnerable than they've ever been before. They're laying low, and there's no way to tell which one of their circle is really a deadly foe....

When the final horseman makes their move, Harper and Knox will have to use all the considerable power at their disposal - and that may even include Asher's mysterious abilities. One thing's for sure - this is a baby who's more than a match for any demon coming after him.

It's time for the world's most formidable family to take the fight to the enemy....

Love Dark in you series

This book was awesome. I'm not surprised at all. I loved the three before this one and was not let down. The first Suzanne Wright book I listened to was Feral Sins (Phoenix Pack series). Since purchasing that book, I have listened to the one book over twenty times. I have fifteen of her audio books and I'm pleased with everyone. Thanks Ms. Wright for your wonderful books.

interesting enough

While i wouldn't exactly call this series, or any series by this author, good. There is far too much psychopathic/sociopathic/some what rapey behavior being portrayed as endearing alpha male habits. As well as the sex scenes being a lot more eye rolling then sexy. I have to say i like that the author doesn't shy away from the fact that her characters are in no way normal people, with any kind of reality based grasp on their emotions. Also if you ignore the romance the story itself is actually pretty interesting if somewhat easy to predict. I like powerful characters, but i have to admit making a character sooo powerful that they have no real equal is a bit boring. Also Knox's powers were inconsistent, one chapter he can teleport right to Harper with no knowledge of where she was and in another he can't. Also every one keeps trying to kill Knox in some elaborate way, but why didn't they just snipe him or something? Still with all my numerous complaints and reasons NOT to like this series......welll i do, and i have no idea why. So i am declaring it interesting enough.

Good story

Overall a very good story. The lower performance rating was not due to the narrator, but because there are several places where sentences or part of sentences are just missing. This makes for confusion on the part of the listener. Luckily I also had the story as an ebook and was able to find the missing passages.

Producer was horrible!

This book sounded like someone recorded the narrator in an echoing room. This was compounded by MULTIPLE repeat sentences throughout the book. I’m grateful there wasn’t repeat paragraphs, but wow, been awhile since I’ve heard a recording this bad.

Narrator was good, the story continues for Nox, Harper, and baby Asher. All our favorite characters were there, and some new ones. Many moments of “wow, can’t believe that just happened” as usual. Great book and narrator, producer needs to be fired.

Bunch of issues with the audio

There’s chunks missing, echoing and parts where it repeats over and over. The story is great and you get the whole picture but the audio is pretty annoying

Lost on the editor’s table

Loved the book. The storyline was great and kept me hooked. The only negative was towards the end where parts of the final scene (chloe’s party) was cut off and some funny interactions were missed.

We finally have the answers to many questions..

We’re at the end of an era..we finally find out the identity of the fourth horseman, the reason behind their quest, and the identity of all co-conspirators.

While I wasn’t totally surprised by the co-conspirator, the 4th horseman was a surprise..the story has many twists that were put there just for the effect, but at times it seemed parts could have been omitted.

I enjoyed the book and finding out what demon baby Asher is (interesting). Harper got to flex some of her “blood thirsty” rage- and boy was that impressive. For everyone to be a demon of some sort, it was interesting how ineffective they could be in vetting information, but otherwise, the story was very good.

While this may be the end of Knox, Harper, and baby Asher as the primary focus, I’m sure we’ll get to see the little guy in the upcoming stories.

If you’ve read the series, you’ll enjoy the story and it’s ending.

wow

I don't normally write reviews yet I have listened to over 700 books on audible. Mainly romance, from bikers and gangsters to shifters and billionaire bosses. I have loved many of those series, including a trilogy that was made into movies. Also, I should let you know that I'm a Christian. That being said, I LOVED this series. It kept me interested and wondering. I like the twists and how there was mystery. I usually don't listen to 12+ hour long books, let alone 4 of them, but I was intrigued. The characters have dept, not to mention to humor had my snort laughing, OUT LOUD. I'm very happy I took a chance on this. I'm pleasantly surprised. Thank you Suzanne Write.

Too Obvious

I really like Suzanne Wright's Dark in you series. This story line was a little too obvious to have any real suspense. The story is enjoyable and fans of the series went be disappointed.
