Basic, repetitive and not necessarily practical

I’ve gone through about two hours of the audiobook, and must say, a lot of the information is either extremely basic, like saying “crossing of arms conveys disapproval or discomfort”, or repetitive. The author would say something like, the eyes can give you a wealth of information and go through a few examples at the beginning of a paragraph, and maybe 5 minutes after repeat exactly the same information for a second time, maybe with an extra sentence or two.
A lot of the NLP information and techniques that might be useful are very briefly touched on, and the author does not go in details about the application of the methods
If you REALLY don’t know anything about nonverbal communication and do not want to do a simple google search, this book might be useful. If not, do yourself a favour and Google nonverbal cues and communication techniques. Congratulations, you’ve learned more than half of the information in the book for free.
