Publisher's Summary

Alpha Team Battles Its Greatest Nemesis

With Juice in heavy contact on the do-or-die shore mission, Ali in a blistering sniper duel over the South Atlantic, and Homer all alone and massively outnumbered deep beneath the keel of the JFK, the Alpha operators are in the fight of their lives - against tactically outstanding, pain-invulnerable, and utterly merciless Spetsnaz commandos and with no guarantees about who will be left standing at the end....

The JFK Clings to Survival

Perilously low on ammo, fuel, planes, pilots, and options, and seemingly outmaneuvered at every turn, the beleaguered John F. Kennedy engages in a lethal game of cat and mouse with the gigantic and weapons-bristling Russian battlecruiser - with not just their lives on the line but the lives of everyone on the planet....

One Troop Fights Furiously to Hold the Center

As London comes under unrelenting siege, Jameson and the Royal Marines face down a lightning-fast and terrifyingly uncontrolled outbreak in CentCom's Strategic Command Center - the beating heart of humanity's last defenses against the dead - and with no one but them standing in the way of total collapse and utter devastation....

shame on you for milking a great story

7 & 8 should have been one story way to punish your loyal readers. Not cool

Probably won't start another Fuchs james series

Great story, but author seems to be more into quantity of books than quality. the first few books could stand on their own. but the last 5 should have been condensed into two.. don't get me wrong I really enjoy the story but lately after every book I kinda feel cheated. Being committed to the story, I will put up with the that feeling. but I will not be investing in anymore of Fuchs or James new series. It's sad because they write a good yarn.

Probably time to focus on quality not quantity.

I genuinely loved the first six books. I've felt the latter ones, this included, are sticking too much to a single event and just dragging it on and on. We're starting to pass immersion and move to gratuitous. I believe that book 7/8 probably should have been one single book. I'm afraid for the series in that quantity , although the books seem to be getting shorter and shorter , is now in demand of a publisher and is causing quality to suffer.

I'll stick with the series for the two more books but if there are any more to complete the entire tale they're going to have to recover some mojo of the earlier books in the series.

TOO MUCH DETAIL

the author spent to much time trying to paint specific details through out every second of the story. with so many stories going on at once you find yourself confused and trying to catch up. every gun, scope, ordinance, plane and ship do not need to be explained! sheesh TOO MUCH TIME EXPLAINING THE DETAILS OF THE SITUATION INSTEAD OF TELLING THE STORY. Like the author will go into detail on the same situation in three different ways jump to another story then come back and explain another story.

One of the best of the series.

Exciting and complex volume eight of the Arisen series. So much going on; loads of action and what one would rightfully call a thrilling page-turner. Combat action on the sea, under the sea, and in the air. The aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy desperately evades the Russian battle cruiser. Homer fights for his life beneath the waves against a team of Russian Marine Commandos bent on overtaking or destroying the JFK. Ali battles in a deadly sniper duel from helicopters! of all things. Our boy Juice commands a team on a dangerous shore mission to acquire supplies and ammunition for the JFK. So much more; you won't put the book down until the end. One of the best of the series.

Great series

Another great installment of the Arisen series. I really love th characters and their struggles to overcome almost every obstacle in their way. The only problem I have is that I want more right now. I also wish the book was a bit longer. Keep them coming boys.
