©2023 Kai Butler (P)2023 Kai ButlerFirst, the good. Greg Tremblay is one of the absolute best narrators out there. He brings emotion to the character's and I never have a problem trying to figure out who's talking. 5/5 stars for him.
Now, where I have the problem. There is little romantic connection between Cade and Miles. They are more like war buddies with benefits (which occur near the end). I was not invested in their relationship, at all. In SAI, the story's were involved and I was definitely feeling the emotion between Parker and Nick.
The story, although an interesting concept, dragged a bit.
I am disappointed. Sorry, Kai.
Will I get the next one in the series? I honestly can not say. Which in it's self is saying something. I think I'll read the book and then decide if the audiobook is worth the credit. Didn't read the book first this time, too excited to see another Kai Buttler story.
