Entertaining, important perspective...
but a little cookie cutter. It was written well, easy to listen to, I would have preferred less reflection during the sex scenes and a little more imagination. The narrator did well switching back and forth in her accents!

Excellent.
This was a great book and it deals a little with domestic violence within the lesbian home. Very important

Different
I found this different and maybe a little unexpected for Harper Bliss. The story was unique. I’m not sure if the narration put me off a little or what...can’t put my finger on what I didn’t like. Over all good, though.

A Small Town Texas Romance
Laura moved to Texas to help her aunt who had moved into a nursing home. Traumatized by the death of her wife she hopes to hide from the world and recover. Tess literally bumps into her at the grocery during her first week. Can Tess help her heal and welcome love and healing. Recommend. Great performance and story.

Love vs grief.
While this story can be a little frustrating at times, like “open your eyes girl!”, it is a well constructed tale of how long it takes true love to combat an abusive relationship.
In the end, it was worth it 😉.
Be patient and I think you will agree.

Wonderful listening experience
Both women, Tess and Lara, were very well written, in both the book and the audio book. The audio book was exactly like the written book and kept to the storyline which made it very enjoyable to read. The characters were both entertaining. The drama was light and the humor was kept to a minimum but was also well placed in the story. A bit of jealousy added to the storyline was inspiring to the reader and made for a bit of a dramatic addition to Lara’s personality. Overall a really enjoyable listening experience provided by the author .
