Story
In her lively social history of American women and aging, acclaimed New York Times columnist Gail Collins illustrates the ways in which age is an arbitrary concept that has swung back and forth over the centuries. From Plymouth Rock (when a woman was considered marriageable if "civil and under fifty years of age"), to a few generations later, when they were quietly retired to elderdom once they had passed the optimum age for reproduction, to recent decades, American attitudes towards age have been a moving target.

What’s the most pressure you’ve ever been under? How did you react? What helped? What didn’t? Over the past five years, Dane Jensen has asked these questions of thousands of high performers - from Olympic gold medalists to Navy SEALs, politicians, executives, and busy parents. What has emerged from these conversations is that while everyone’s experiences under pressure are unique, pressure follows patterns and develops in predictable ways. If we can recognize the patterns, we can improve our ability to sidestep the biological traps that can sabotage us....

Story
In 1966 in a small town in Louisiana, a 19-year-old Black man named Gary Duncan pulled his car off the road to stop a fight. Duncan was arrested a few minutes later for the crime of putting his hand on the arm of a White child. Rather than accepting his fate, Duncan found Richard Sobol, a brilliant, 29-year-old lawyer from New York who was the only White attorney at "the most radical law firm" in New Orleans. Against them stood one of the most powerful white supremacists in the South, a man called simply "The Judge".

Publisher's Summary
Social media and vegan superstar and "America's Mom" Tabitha Brown offers inspirational life lessons in her warm, charismatic voice.
Tabitha Brown's path to stardom was a long and winding one. For years she pursued acting while raising a family and dealing with undiagnosed chronic autoimmune pain. Before she became vegan, her condition made her believe she wouldn't live to see forty. Now she's one of the most popular personalities in the world, with millions of followers on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook whom she inspires to live and eat well with her blend of homespun wisdom and delicious home cooking. With her relatable personality and health struggles, approachable and nonjudgmental take on plant-based living, and warm voice reflecting her Southern upbringing, Tabitha connects with listeners with a good story and gentle hand. The most important lesson Tabitha shares with listeners is how to make a life for themselves that is rooted in kindness and love, both for themselves and for others.
Tabitha doesn't just spout inspirational platitudes. She roots her lessons in stories about her own life, career, faith, and family in this down-to-earth book, all structured around Tab's catchphrases that her fans know and love, including:
Hello There!: Introduction, and why hope, joy, and clarity are so very needed
That's Your Business: Defining yourself, and being okay with that
Have the Most Amazing Day…: Choosing joy and living with intention
But Don't Go Messin' Up No One Else's: Learning to walk in kindness even when the world doesn't feel kind
Like So, Like That: Living life without measurement
Very Good: Living in peace and creating good from the bad
Rich with personal stories and inspirational quotes, and sprinkled with a few easy vegan recipes, Feeding the Soul will be eagerly embraced by Tabitha's legion of adoring fans. Listeners will return to this comforting book whenever they want to feel seen, loved, and heard—and they'll share it with family and friends, too.

Heartwarming & inspiring!
I’ve been following Tabitha on Instagram for a couple years now and I’ve always loved her beautiful energy, wonderful smile and her unwavering faith in God! Tabitha is just all around a beautiful soul and it was a pleasure listening to her story, from the highs to the lows and all the in between. She is truly and inspiration and I got to learn so much more about her through this memoir. I had no idea she was dealing with autoimmune issues and is the reason why she went vegan. I also had no clue she has the gift of intuition/clairvoyancy and it made me better understand her random live messages that she does on her insta as they were always so spot on and what I felt like I needed to hear in that moment! If you want a memoir that’ll lift your spirits up, this is the one!

Best book I've listened to in a while
If you are struggling in life with illness or pain or just plain struggling, Tabitha's words will be balm to your soul. I'm so glad this popped up as a suggestion and I bought it, because I don't know how, but this book is exactly what I needed to hear right now. I've teared up and smiled many times through it and I will likely listen again when I need to. I'm sure it's a fine book to read, but the Audible version is the best because it's Tabitha reading her own words with such life and soul, as only she could do...I think just reading it as a written book would be missing out. Anyhow, I'm not sure what else to say except that this is a great book for anyone, from any walk of life, but especially for those who might be having a hard time and needing to hear some wise, loving words of encouragement. Thank you Tabitha for this wonderful book and for being beautiful YOU!!!
