Clarity to “The Secret” and “God”
I was fortunate enough to get this a little read for $1.25. When I first started listening I thought, oh no, I am NOT going to like this, but that’s OK, it’s less than the price of a cup of coffee. But as I continued to listen, I found the clarity I was looking for, to not only “The Secret”, but also to religious interpretations of the Holy Bible. I was once a devout Christian based on all that I was taught. As early as 9 or 10 years old I started to ask questions, too many questions I was told. By the time I was in my early 20s , I started to have some serious doubts about the interpretations of others. I am 62 now and I still believe in a higher power, I believe in the need for spiritual guidance and law and order of some sort, whether it be Christian or any other faith. But I believe “God” is within us. Unfortunately past interpretations of all religions, have been interpreted incorrectly and used against people as a means of control, and I’m sure we all know they have been and continue to be the cause of hatred and wars. I believed a long time ago that God … or whatever you want to call it… is within us. Only WE have the power to change who we are, how we think, how we approach life etc. Having said that, I will always love the Bible and the teachings it provides, but I believe it is up to the individual to interpret these teachings. I believe the teachings of all religions were intended for good. I believe the Bible and likely all religious teachings, are prophetic and it is within us as a connection of God, Allah, Jehovah, … whatever you call it, to change who we are, and how we approach the world. We are only limited by ourselves. Thank you for this wonderful little book!!! I will definitely be re-reading it, probably more than once.

Good visualization advice soaked in utterly dated and tone deaf ideas
Narrator drones.
The book is effectively: don’t dwell on negative feelings, but make yourself feel what you want, and the result will follow (ex: not “I will develop the willpower to lose 20 pounds” but “I am losing 20 pounds. I have begun. It is not possible to fail, because I’ve already succeeded.”)
This kind of visualization can be very effective, but also tone deaf: tell someone experiencing racial oppression that they are the only problem and see how that goes :grimace:
The book is also crazy religious, and says things along the lines of “as God hath said that woman shall serve man, so shall the subconscious serve the conscious, and they shall be as one flesh” lololol :barf:

Absolutely Blown Away
I don't write reviews very often....but this is the most profound wisdom I've ever heard. It is as though the author took every book on manifestation ever written and somehow distilled all of it into its most potent and basic form. It's power lies both in its brevity and simplicity.
I am a Mechanical Engineer. Newton gave us the simple formula F=m*a. Every mechanical device that exists in this world came from that very simple idea.
Within this 40 minute audio book is the simple formula from which all things can be manifested into reality.
I do not know Neville Goddard nor have I received any compensation for this review. I found this audio book by happenstance.... wasn't even looking for something like this. It just sort of fell into my lap....

Neville Goddard's teachings can be life changing. He packs so much wisdom into such a limited space. I own the book but I've listened to this audiobook several times. This is the best short book on the subject of Law of Attraction and creating your own reality. Mitch Horowitz does a good job with the narration.

Neville was ahead of his time.
Neville explains the missing piece in today's understanding of the law of attraction. I've read his works for decades and when I take the time to apply his message things always come to me that I want. It is very easy to forget that it is the emotion that you put into your desired outcome that makes the difference.

Please Read
I’ve heard the name Neville Goddard (1905-1972) for many years, but have not previously pursued reading his works. Second or third-hand is not the same. Be prepared to read any of his works several times before you truly comprehend his message. Once you read a work, pick out one point to integrate into your life, then act. When you believe you’ve got it, go back and read that work again. Rinse, repeat.
My take away from this first reading is check my language - verbal and thoughts - to make sure I’m living in an actively positive way. This may sound odd, but I’ve become more aware of my language in actively writing reviews for every audiobook I read.
Secondary point: Sleep and prayer are the two gateways into the subconscious.
Third point: Do not waste one moment on regret.
Worth your time and money.

Straight from the source of all knowledge
Great information, pure clean insight. The only issues I had was that as it were from the source of all knowledge, it was spilled into my mind too quickly. As every word was pure gold, I struggled to interpret what my brain could comprehend. I found myself taking notes and having to pause or back up to capture the jewels I need for my own soul progression right now. I found it a struggle to keep up with what I just heard, time to reflect on that thought and absorb where the idea was going. I almost feel like I would have preferred this information in written form so more ideas could sink in. I'm sure, as it's only 40 minutes that I will listen again, many times and with each session more knowledge will be absorbed. This was not the words of an earthly being but straight word for word of the higher self which stretches the ability to absorb, understand and reflect.

This is a lie
It will tell you instead of believing in God and Jesus, to claim you are God and or Jesus. This isn’t true, relationship TO Jesus and God requires humility which you literally can’t have towards yourself. Humility is a virtue and excluding it from God is a lie. I tried this thought process and God straightened me out. I’m just leaving it as a warning! Jesus is king.
