I can’t stand the narrators tone

I crazy love the stories. It’s such an amazing collection !!!! But the narrator brings this over dramatic tone and snobbishness to the characters that doesn’t make any sense. Like she’s projecting and can’t read the characters personalities. I sometimes decide I’m going to suck it up for the stories sake, cuz I really want to hear them … but end up getting irritated and have to turn it off.
