Story
In the north, the collapsed section of the Wall is defended only by the decimated remains of 2 PARA. Even reinforced by Jameson and the exhausted Royal Marines of One Troop, it's a doomed delaying action at best - and the last choke point in the entire ZA faces an incoming tide of dead stretching to the ends of the Earth. Meanwhile, hunkered down at CentCom, the unified ranks of our heroes, led by Ali and Fick, work furiously to fortify and reinforce what will be humanity's final fallback position - forever.

Story
After recovering Patient Zero, Alpha must escape Africa to end the ZA once and for all. But they can feel the hot breath of a reinforced and vengeful Spetsnaz team on their necks - and there can be no escaping the reckoning of an ultimate sniper showdown between Ali and Vasily, and an incomparably brutal iron-cage Texas death match between Predator and Misha. For the first time, all the teams will come together and must fight as brothers for any chance of making it back to Britain. And only one thing is certain - not everyone is walking away from this one.

Story
The world's last floating nuclear supercarrier looks into the face of oblivion as her thinned, exhausted, and beleaguered crew face the largest herd of dead ever recorded. Soon the ship's five-acre flight deck will become the scene of a furious and desperate set-piece battle - like no combat any modern army has seen since Stalingrad. The ranks of the dead are infinite, and those of the living are tiny, depleted, and running out of time...and of hope.

Publisher's Summary
Ever since Master Gunnery Sergeant Fick came blitzing out of nowhere in Maximum Violence (Arisen, book 4), he has emerged as the closest thing to a consensus fan favorite character for the series. He is best known and most beloved for his ribald, profane, merciless, and generally hilarious insults, quips, and bon mots, which are so characteristic that listeners have affectionately dubbed them: Fickisms.
Now, in response to popular demand, and collected here for the first time, are all the very best tidbits of Fick's wit and wisdom, from all 14 main series books.
And thrown in as an extra special bonus, you can also enjoy the most priceless lines from both Predator, and Aliyev the Kazakh.
Wit. Wisdom. And Magic Marker Dicks.

I'm still laughing 3rd time around
If you have any military experience, country doesn't matter, we all met that Sargent Major, that can cuss, swear, and make you blush, and fear him. Not for sensitive, or thin skinned, I laugh just thinking about it.

Not for me
I like the series, but this isn't for me because it has no storyline to it. I thought it was going to be a short story, but in truth, it’s just Fick's comments. It was a true shit sandwich, so since I don’t need to take a bite, I’ll past on it.

Great One Liners
This book is all one liners from Pred, Juice, Olyev and of course Fick.
Love all the one liners from these great charters in the Arisen series.

Boooo, Why did I get this book?
Because I love the series? But this is not worth anything, it doesn’t add or clear up anything in the series, it just a bunch of one liners with no purpose or meaning. Total waste of money and time, and makes me look side-eyed at Mr Fuchs.
So I hope he makes up by starting a new series with one of the many wonderful characters all while he gets the Netflix series off the ground. My vote for leading man is Liev Schreiber from the Showtime series Ray Donavan.

Had me laughing out loud
What a great break from the Arisen series. Just finished book 4 and needed a diversion. I thoroughly enjoyed the change. R.C. Bray does an excellent job with different voices. This is not a continuation of the story. I need to write some of these down and see where I can fit them into a conversation. 😉
