Too Many Repeat Stories

I have heard half of these before. Audible should flag books with non-original stories.

Bad

Typical stories read by retired sounding porn stars that cannot pronounce things correctly. I drive at night and these couldn’t even arouse me enough to stay awake!

All the same story, appealing to male fantasy

I bought this thinking it would be woman-oriented erotica. It isn’t. Although ostensibly from a female point of view, all protagonists in the stories are the same: fit, 40-ish, blondes who have semi-consensual encounters with hot, younger fit and well-endowedmen.

No diverse characters at all- no people of color, no bodies of large size, no elderly people. With a few exceptions, once you’ve read one of the stories, you’ve read them all.

The quality of the writing varies from laughably bad to competent. I realize that most people don’t read these collections for the literary quality, but come on now.

It’s ok as a stroke book, but don’t expect quality writing, any feminist awareness, or interesting characters in these stories.

it's amazing

amazing that a book for Audible could have that many pronunciation mistakes. and it has four of the stories themselves they we're less than inspired works. sorry, I wish I could say something better about it.

One problem with the stories

Most of these are good stories. However just like in today’s politically correct movies and other media, the woman is never the bad person. She never initiates an affair in a good marriage. The husband is always the one that has failed, causing the wife to act the way she does. To be fair, there are many stories where the husband has passed, giving a green light for her actions. There is also “revenge sex” where the wife does act badly, but again it’s because the husband caused her action by having an affair. So as long as this issue doesn’t bother you for all fifty stories it’s fine. But I’ve seen too many current movies, tv shows, and books that the female is always the strong figure, the heroine, even many times trying to make the male no longer masculine, weak, and even stupid. Hopefully soon the pendulum will swing back towards the middle.

I love listening to the stories very hot and very sexy narrators will look for more from these lovely ladies
