About this listen

Three weddings at one isolated venue. Three dead bodies. Three missing brides… And one of them is a murderer.

It’s Christmas Day at Wilder House, and three magical winter weddings are set to begin. But as the tables are arranged, and the food is prepared, a perfect storm hits, cutting every guest from the rest of the world.

Most little girls dream of the perfect wedding. But this bride stumbles alone into the snow, her silk train dragging through dirt, her hands bloody from the murder she just committed…

Now there is at least one killer roaming the unforgiving landscape surrounding Wilder House.

Who else will die on Christmas Day?

This chilling psychological thriller by bestselling author Sarah A. Denzil is not one to miss. Set in the atmospheric Lake District, it’s the perfect winter listen.

great story, good narration but many, many glitches in the audio through the whole book.

glitchy audio

Is it likely that so many people with so many problems would all congregate in one place at the same time? No. However, I found the storyline interesting and I wanted to find out how it ended. Overall a good read.

I actually enjoyed this one

This Sarah A. Denzil tale follows a group of troubled women brought together for a weekend of Christmas-themed weddings at an isolated venue. Conflicts, blackmail, and murder ensue.
The writing is capable, Denzil's plot is much more believable/realistic than in other of her books, and the character explorations are creditable. Unfortunately, the characters & events are relatively ho-hum overall.. and the climax/conclusion goes a bit off-the-wall. The book starts as a relatively uncaptivating but commendable psychological thriller & evolves into something requiring a pretty significant suspension of disbelief.

As to presentation: Reader Catrin Walker-Booth is professional with regards to diction, timbre, cadence, and voice-acting.. but is so frustratingly monotone that the book lacks emotion. She solidly fits into the "below-average" category of narrators.

Altogether, 'Find Her' was suitable for playing in the background while doing other tasks. It rates 5 stars out of 10. It's a serviceable story.. but not worth a Credit if it leaves the 'Plus' menu.

Loved the drama and the suspense and it was a pleasure to listen.
Great stories of all these women and the stories behind their wedding. I was committed and glad to follow their stories.

Overall a bit disappointing…I used to love Sarah Denzil’s books but the last few have not been her best work in my opinion.
