Publisher's Summary

When we hear the word “purpose,” we tend to think about striving to reach a certain goal in the future. “There is another kind of purpose that has nothing to do with time,” explains Eckhart Tolle. “This is your primary purpose—to be here fully in whatever you do so that the preciousness of the present moment remains paramount.” With Finding Your Life’s Purpose, Eckhart presents a two-session program on making the transition from “thought-based” living to the realization of presence as the foundation for all you do, exploring:

  • How to overcome the dissatisfaction and conflict produced by dysfunctional states of consciousness.
  • Dissolving the veil of mind for the direct realization that everything is sacred and alive.
  • Honoring the world of form without identifying with it.
  • Love as the recognition of the true Self that underlies everyone.

“You are the consciousness that illuminates the world. Know yourself as that—that’s what life wants with you,” teaches Eckhart. Finding Your Life’s Purpose is an invitation to a new way of being, free from conditioned patterns of reactivity and unhappiness, and aligned with the greater intelligence of the universe itself.

Brilliant.

This book is for those who who recognize that there is more to life than the outer trappings. Tole is brilliant at explaining the essence of life and existence. He uses simple, easy to understand language. Plus he's funny. A totally enjoyable book!

Awesome talk by Echart.

Didn't like the giggling of the audience on everything that is perceived to be a joke or funny.

Excellent.

This is a rather short but excellent introduction to Nonduality by Eckhart Tolle. He covers lots of bases and of course I always love his humor, which never fails to crack me up. Echard is a terrific, loving, and compassionate dream teacher.

Loved it!!

I enjoy Eckhart but this recording has to be one of my favorites. I always enjoy his message but his humor brings out more light in the meaning of a deep message.

An engaging speaker.

Mr. Tolle is a thoughtful speaker. I haven't enjoyed his books as much as his talks which are witty and deeply felt.
