loved it
I've read people complaining about Grey Stripe's lisp but I thought it was fine. I don't find people with lisps in real life annoying and I'm glad that kids hear a warrior with a lisp. Lots of people have speech impediments and some are friends of mine. I encourage people to get over it. I was surprised how much I got into the story. I looked forward to driving my kids to school so I could hear what happened next and I had to resist skipping ahead on my way to work. We've developed some great inside jokes/references.

I love this series of books!
I'm a brain injury survivor, and have a form of aphasia; difficulty with reading comprehension, at times. I have recently subscribed to Audible, theough which I discovered these books. I am enthralled with the storyline, and the narrator does an excellent job with all of the different voices for the characters. I'm about ready to start listening to book #3 😊

A Warrior builds up his legacy.
I just started this series last week. As a feline parent, I listen to this series and envision both the wild stray cats and kittens that have taken over our neighborhood and the kitty pets that we have adopted. I have a litter of four that were born under our home, and they scatter like a ghost is after them, when I set out a bowl to feed them. I have watched them grow to full size adults and they don’t trust two legs, even the ones feeding them. But our home is their territory and they constantly defend it from the dark clan of black cats that live across the street. I rescued two little black and white kittens off the street three months ago just down the road from us. They have become kitty pets, having forgotten the first month of survival under the homes just down the road, and having to cross the Thunder path and avoid the roaring monsters and dogs that travel along the thunder path. They watch with interest the two clans of black cats and the tiger striped cats and the lone blue ear cream colored cat that lives under our home. As I listen to the stories of the Warriors series I image all of these cats and how the resembles the cats in the stories. We even have a elderly yellow cat that is grumpy and is keeping the two kitty pet kittens in check when they get excited and annoying to him. lol. I really enjoy these books and look forward to hear how Fireheart, and is nephew get along with their new clan of wild cats and grow as Warriors. If you don’t understand what I mean by two legs, kitty pets and clans of wild cats, you have to listen to this series of books. Especially if you have kitty pets in your home. Enjoy.

Amazing book
The main narrator was nice, and the voices for the male cats were too. But it bothered me to hear all of the female cats be voiced with male people. For example, when blue star talked, the man didn’t even try to make his voice sound as a woman’s. I have read the first three seasons (if that’s what you call them) before, so I know the dialogue already but I think people that have not read or listened to it will end up being confused at some point
