Then, one day, one of the mindless dragons guarding the fort awakens...and Jenny realizes that the friend from her dreams isn't a figment of her imagination. He's a dragon.

And he's looking to claim his female.

Fantasic

I've been power listening to the whole saga every day over the last couple weeks. This is my second listen through. The story is so captivating!

On a side note, the new female narrator threw me off a bit, even the second time around knowing it was coming. She's great, but she talks so slow while reading that I actually had to speed up the reading just to remain focused on the story. Otherwise. AMAZING. This whole series.

Hate the new female narrator

Why on earth would you change narrators in the middle of a series? Not only does she pronounce the characters names differently, her voice is too masculine and sounds like she is so bored. Please re-record with Noelle Bridges.
I'm hesitant to pre-order the next book.

Enjoyed the story narrator was ok

I read this book via Kindle first and I loved it. I wanted the audiobook so I could make sure I was perouncing the name correctly. I grabed the audiobook when I first saw it. I was apprehensive about the new female reader. She was an ok narrator my major issues didn't come until Jenny was talking to one of our other dragon riders and all of a sudden this character wasn't prouncing her mate's name nor her daughters name correctly. it took away from the story for me which is why the 4 stars and not the 5. Overall though it was a good listen.

Loved the Story, the F Narration was challenging

Great story, especially the oil derrick which made me laugh out loud while listening. I have to say the new female narrator was not a good choice. She has maybe two emotions and is so bland I found my mind wandering during her parts of the story and here I'm thinking more about my grocery list than the story. I have every one of this series in Audible and have listened to them many times over as it completely immerses me in the narrative while I'm walking, doing housework, driving, etc. The parts Jeremy York narrated were amazing and I felt like I was there but his parts were much too few. Jillian Macie needs to get more range outside of drama queen voice (also used during sexy times which makes it completely unsexy) or her I'm so annoyed voice which is used the rest of the time.

Not happy about the new narrator

I wish the female narrator was the same, I know the books are all stand alone, but the narration was in superb. Now it’s sub par.

Jenny & Mal

Loved this one as much as the first two.. Jenny was fierce and protective of not only her mate but the other dragons once she learned what Azar was doing to them. Mal was a fantastic mate with a heart of gold.

Love the story

So I love this series but I am annoyed that Noelle was swapped out. This Jillian isn’t horrible but she does not do this story justices.

Best in this series

Having read or listened to all of the books in this series (some more than once) it is my humble opinion that this book has the best balance of intimate scenes and development of characters and storyline. Definitely the best of all!

Possible SPOILER ALERT:
A wonderful set-up for possibly a new series is provided with the births of the babies. I look forward to more books in this series first.

get the Kindle version

😞 the new female narrator ruined this book for me. do yourself a favor and read the Kindle version yourself instead. I have to note that all the previous audio books narrated by Noelle Bridges and Jeremy York were great which might be why the change at this point in the series was even more disappointing. York still narrated but his parts were short and few and far between only making things sadder. it was a struggle to get through it and to pay attention.... the story itself was okay but I was too distracted by the female narration to enjoy it, and the mispronunciation of some names towards the end.... ugh. I really liked the general story concept of the captive dragon and meeting in their dreams which was creative but that didn't play as much of a role in the book as I thought it would, just briefly at the beginning.
