Publisher's Summary

As the Horus Heresy rages and the death toll rises, one more will be added to the numberless dead: Sibel Niasta, personal astropath to the First Lord of the Imperium, Malcador the Sigillite. As her end approaches, Malcador sits vigil by her bedside, and the pair discuss their friendship and what it means - how the past and present have shaped Malcador and the Imperium, and what the future holds.

Fantastic!!

What a great personal story about the Sigillite. A mysterious, prominent figure of the Warhammer 40,000 universe that we typically do not get a closer look at very often. This story actually gives the listener quite an insight into him as a character, and some of his motivations as well. There is a lot that is implied here, and you really have to pay attention. It sounds like Malcador isn't giving much away at all, but listening closely you realize he is speaking volumes about himself and the Emperor without coming right out and saying it.
A wonderful short story, that has fantastic performances from the actors, and as always; amazing sound design.
A must listen for Warhammer 40K fans!!

Intriguing, and revealing...

Malcador's insight on the primarchs is very telling for just why the heresy happened... Interesting.

Short but sweet

While it was a short tale (24 odd minutes) it still had a full length feel. They didnt hold back on the feeling amd drama because of the length. Good listen.
