McLain and Huss pulled off another gripping tale of emotional ups and downs. This series has me so in love with every character...even the bad guys have layers. can't wait to start book 4...no seriously I'm doing it now.

Wow, this is a great series. I love the duel narrators, and the fact that Tad wrote it, you can tell it is in his voice. He is invested in it. As a listener I love it. The characters are broken and bruised but in love. And they are I can't put it into words.

In Book 3 Maddie is told by Carlos she still needs to payback a debt she didn't create with the mobster.

People have died and Maddie just wants everything to stop. She learns some people aren't always who they think they are and she may have allies where she least expects it. Now the gloves are off and Maddie wants revenge. The problem is as Maddie hides from her family and survivors guilt she risks losing any love she found and it struggle to keep it.
