Truth be told the first 2 books in this series did not quite hook me in.

But as of book 3 and especially 4 with the narration change this series has become pure gold. I feel it may have even surpassed the main renegade star series for me.

The characters now have true depth and Tom Taylorson brings them each uniquely to life, bringing me nearly to tears during moments of characters lost in this story arc. I hope this series goes on for ever.
