Publisher's Summary

A fight for love, and a fight for survival!

As unregistered wolf shifters living in secrecy, their very existence is technically illegal. Keeping that secret at all costs has been the number one rule the Durant brothers have lived by for nearly their entire lives. But, all is not what it seems, and soon they will be forced to make some difficult choices.

Books included in this series:

A Mate for Seth (Book One)

Sarah, as drawn to Seth as he is to her, can’t understand why the kind, generous hottie next door is so secretive. She’s never known someone to be so desperate to know her while also throwing up so many roadblocks. With a complicated family history of her own, Sarah has to decide whether Seth is worth all the secrets. And, when his secret is blown, she has to decide if she’ll be able to live outside the law with the love of her life.

A Mate for Raphael (Book Two)

Natalie Chalk has been best friends with Raphael since elementary school, and it hurts her to see him so lonely. When she gets unceremoniously dumped by someone she bet the farm on, Nat finds herself just as lonely as Raphael is. One weird night, the same idea occurs to both of them. What if they could be less lonely…together? They initiate a friends-with-benefits plan to assuage their feelings with one another, but neither could have predicted what would have come next.

A Mate for Jackson (Book Three)

Kaya Chalk doesn’t hate men. She’s just constantly annoyed by them. They fawn over her, pursue her, make fools of themselves for her. What she wouldn’t give for a little peace and quiet! With her sister paired off and in love, Kaya becomes determined to live a peaceful, solitary life. That would be possible if only Jackson Durant weren’t suddenly a part of her life again, rescuing her and scowling his way into her heart.

A Mate for Phoenix (Book Four)

Ida knows better than to ever get involved with a client. Especially one with daggers for eyes and whose jawline could slice a girl in half. But, there is something about Phoenix Wolf that won't stop tempting her. Something magnetic. Something so tempting she can't pull away. When a sinister presence threatens to separate them, they have to decide, will they bad together or fall apart?

A Mate for Orion (Book Five)

As Diana and Orion get closer and closer, they begin to notice the strange behavior of someone in their lives. Little do they realize, they're falling in love on borrowed time. There is something dangerous barreling toward Orion and his siblings, and Diana might be the only one who can stop it.

A Mate for Quill (Book Six)

Quill is given the mission of recruiting her. But, Dawn’s emotional connection to the world, to her shifted form, to the natural world opens up something inside him that he didn’t know existed. He’s drawn to her delicate nature. Like a flower that shouldn’t be picked. But, all is not what it seems, and Quill will be forced to make some hard choices. A fight for love, and a fight for survival!

A surprisingly thoughtful and thorough tale (tail)

There are times in adult paranormal fantasy where the plot isn’t the focus. The details aren’t fleshed out and the “fantasy/paranormal” piece relies solely on the reader already being aware of lore

In this series the author truly fleshes out the world, you understand how we got here, the nuances and some deeper emotional dives into the characters

All mixed with spiciness that you absolutely can NOT listen to while taking your turn driving carpool for little Timothy and his fellow goblins.

You still love these stories!

I received a free copy of this box set from the author. My review is voluntary.

A Mate for Seth

As usual, Selena delivers a great shifter story.

Sarah has dumped her career and moved as far away from her father as she can get to start a new life. Her current home needs a few improvements, furniture would be nice, but she will get around to unpacking and fixing the place up later. When the good-looking buttoned-down neighbor with the picture-perfect house and yard shows up at her door to welcome her to the neighborhood, she was skeptical of his pretty boy offers of help.

Seth and his brothers are shifters in a world where this fact must be hidden if you didn't want to end up in a shifter camp being "helped" into an early grave. When he meets his new neighbor for the first time he does not make a good impression, with insulting her aunt and repeating himself and all. There is something about her that he really likes though, and he is determined to figure out a way to get her house in order. Just the kind of project he needs to keep him sane between full moons.

Find out what happens when Seth finds himself falling for a human that he can never endanger by telling her about his shifter side. I can't wait for Raphael's and Jackson's stories, and something tells me their adopted mother, Elizabeth, will have her own story.

A Mate for Raphael

Loved the second book in this series. It is the story of two friends that find they are maybe just a little more into each other than they ever thought possible. The rest of the family is also included in the story, giving you more hints of what is yet to come.

A Mate for Jackson

I loved this finale to the series. We get to find out how Jackson removes his foot from his mouth and admits his feelings to Kaya, who promptly calls him on his shift (can't use bad language, lol). I loved that Kaya was skeptical of Jackson and made him evaluate his own feelings and positions. To give him credit, Jackson knew he needed to improve if he wanted to win his mate. We also get a little bit of Elizabeth's and Bauer's love story. There is a lot that happens at the end of the book to wrap it all up. Enjoy.

A Mate for Phoenix

It was a fine start to the tales of a family of wolf shifters who have come in from the wilderness and taken their human forms. Phoenix was badly burned in a flash fire and his siblings brought him in to civilization to get him medical care. As he is now doing physical therapy and still cannot shift into his wolf, Phoenix and his siblings must try to assimilate into human society for at least as long as he is recovering.

Ida works for an organization that helps shifters with their transition into the human world. She is very proud of what she does for a living and feels she is making a contribution to society. When she is assigned to Phoenix’s case she is apprehensive since she has never worked with a “wild” shifter before. He and his family are starting from scratch as they have had very little contact with humans. Since none of them have skills that will transfer into a human job, they are stuck living in pitiful housing and existing off a subsidy.

There is a greater conspiracy going on in the background that we only get small bits of information about; I am sure this will play a bigger part in the next books. The possible love interests of Phoenix’s siblings are in place and it will be interesting to see how they play out.

A Mate for Orien

So how can Orion finally get the sexy Diana to take him seriously? He has tried convincing her to be his mentor, mostly by rejecting all the other mentors assigned to him. He has texted her and called her at odd times. He has even tried pretending to smoke a cigarette underneath her office window, nothing seems to get him where he wants to be. When it is suggested to him that he try doing exactly what she wants, he is a little reluctant to try this hands-off approach but what does he have to lose?

A Mate for Quill

We finally get to find out what happens to Dawn after Quill had a change of heart and saved her from the Director's men. As she and Quill take off on a road trip across America to Florida she is determined to turn herself over to the madman so she can keep her brothers and their women safe. Quill is just as determined to turn himself in for his treachery and take his punishment while making sure Dawn stays free. Can she forgive him and can he admit his feelings for her before it is too late?

We also get to meet some likely candidates for future books.

Ok books

All these books are written in a 3rd person’s point of view. So you don’t get the intimacy of each character. The books r ok , but would have been much better if the characters themselves talked instead of the 3rd person , on which I don’t understand

great collection of reads

This is an awesome collection of shifter stories following the trials and wins of a shifter family integrating with humans. It's not sugar coating their hardships or the evil that plagues them to just survive and live. It's similar to an immigrants journey in many ways, and it's heartbreaking and gutwrenching at times. but it ends with a hea after hard won battles, and that works for me. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Some really good writing in here. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. I highly recommend this series.

Great stories

Great stories. I particularly enjoyed books 1-5 the most. There were parts I literally laughed out loud. The narrator was excellent. He brought out each character in a unique way. Please be aware that there is a chance you will be staying up late with these stories. They are that good.

TOO MUCH!!!!!

This series would have been one of my favorites, but the explicit language and pornographic sex scenes completely turned me away from this author. I found myself skipping more than I listened!! When I use a credit I want to know I chose well but this was a total bust!!! If you like the prom and filthy language scene then THIS is the series for you…if not then leave this one out of your library.
Narration was great and the story line would have been also…just WAY TOO MUCH porn and language.

WOW! Really enjoyable!

I was looking for a shifter series to read all at once. I was surprised on how quickly I devoured this series. Each book was great on its own making it easy to get to the next book. Third person narration isn’t my favorite, but I really enjoyed the sound of his voice. Overall, money well spent!

Loved It!!

I honestly loved every single book of this series. There were parts that were serious and parts that made me laugh out loud. I fell in love with all the characters and their individual story. I also loved how the author had all the books connect in the end. I was very surprised at that fact when I was on the last book. I very much will be looking into more books by this author. I also like the narrator of the story. I think he was a good choice for the series.

even better in audio

I have the series in ebooks, but had a weak moment and obtained the audio version as well to listen to while doing crafts. I don't realize how much I miss just reading and truly enjoyed finding more details while listening to these books. the storyline is fantastic and characters well developed. A truly amazing collection!
