Publisher's Summary

I've always hated her. She's always hated me. We've never been friends, just the best of enemies....

I've hated Rachel Dawson since I was seven years old. My next-door neighbor and number-one sworn enemy - she's the reason why almost all of our childhood fights ended with me setting something of hers on fire. (Or, vice versa.)

She snitched on me when I broke curfew. I snitched on her when she lied about having a boyfriend. We went back and forth like this throughout high school, both vowing to never talk to each other again when we went off to college.

But that was until she showed up at my apartment during my senior year and asked me for a temporary place to stay. Until living with her day after day became unbearable, and one passionate argument changed everything. Well, almost everything.

I've always hated her. She's always hated me. I'm not sure what the hell is happening, and I can't tell if we're still "enemies"....

Very well done!!

This was a funny and well narrated enemies to lovers book. Joe Arden and Erin were hilarious and had their usual chemistry. I love these two. Thank you Whitney G. for keeping them together in this story.
It was written differently than some of the some of the usual enemies to lovers stories due to some really funny letter writing. These characters met as kids; hated/liked each other starting from age 7 through college but it was channeled as anger and hate and the story took us back to their younger years when they first met and how they got together again during their college years.
Funny the parents knew they really liked each other.
There are some sad moments but not enough to fret over....the story was pretty light and tame as to their sexual chemistry but lots of references. Joe has his usual potty mouth that keeps you smiling.
They really kept in touch via letters but over time you found they didn't really hate each other and actually Ethan really looked out for her but you don't really know that until later in the story.
Well done all around, lots of laughing out loud and a good story. When these two narrators and author get together it's a winner for me. 😂😂

Laughed out loud! 5 Bright Stars!

Joe Arden was just PERFECT voicing Ethan, and Erin Mallon was the perfect counterpart.

I did laugh out loud right off the bat, and many more times after that. It got more serious as it progressed to their college years, but there was still humor in their love/hate banter.

They both put their feet in their mouths many times, but they learn to overcome all the obstacles.

The ending was nicely wrapped, with every conflict nicely resolved.

I do recommend this audiobook!

Soooo Good

Both Joe and Erin were absolutely fantast as usual, I can usually get thru anything either of these two read regardless of storyline quality. But Forget you Ethan not only has great narrators but a wonderfully unique story too!! It held my attention the entire time, with just the right amount of angst and sexy times :) I typically do not like YA but even tho most of the book takes place while they are in college, these characters are not immature and did not annoy me at all lol

Don't believe the hype

It started out funny and cute and just got completely ridiculous. Clearly the author has never been to college and learned about sex from porn. I get it's fiction...but believable people/characters don't talk like that, act like that, etc. - completely absurd. I made it halfway thru and turned it off. Save your $

Not 5 star...

This book was disappointing after all the good reviews. The characters were both bratty and not at all like real college students. 5 star restaurants were mentioned multiple times and seriously what college students go to 5 star restaurants? 5 star restaurants are what middle aged couples do as romance.

Soul Mates

I enjoyed this book so much, it had every emotion in it. When they were kids the things they did to each other and said reminded me of me and my best friend Freddie. We didn’t end up together but the fantasy as a teenager to be his one and only was always there. Thank you for this Soul Mate story

An adorable take on enemies to lovers

I love Whitney’s enemies to lovers stories, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Ethan and Rachel have been enemies since they were 7 years old. As they get older, their hateful relationship takes an unconventional path, growing and adjusting, yet staying the same.

I can’t tell much without giving any spoilers, so I’ll just say that I loved this story of two kids growing up, and staying in each other’s lives, even though they hate one another.

As usual, Joe Arden and Erin Mallon capture Ethan and Rachel’s very complex relationship.
