Story
I ran from home to escape heartbreak, only to deliver myself into the hands of a wolf. Henry Wolf, that is. Heir to a luxury hotel chain, infamous playboy, arrogant bastard...and my new boss. Why he wants me, Abbi Mitchell - a girl who lacks experience on every front that would matter to him - as his personal assistant, I cannot fathom, especially when I keep messing up in the most spectacular way. Did I already mention he's a bastard? A beautiful, moody one, who's quick to demand, slow to apologize. And toying with me every chance he gets.

Publisher's Summary
When a gorgeous young dancer walks through his door, a strip club owner must decide whether to follow his rules or his heart in the third novel by the author of One Tiny Lie and Ten Tiny Breaths.
Owning a strip club isn't the fantasy most guys expect it to be. With long hours, a staff with enough issues to keep a psych ward in business, and the police regularly on his case, twenty-nine-year-old Cain is starting to second guess his unspoken mission to save the women he employs. And then blond, brown-eyed Charlie Rourke walks through his door, and things get really complicated. Cain abides by a strict "no sleeping with the staff" rule. But being around Charlie challenges Cain's self-control…and it's been a long time since any woman has done that.
Twenty-two-year-old Charlie Rourke needs a lot of money, really fast, in order to vanish before it's too late. Taking her clothes off for men makes her stomach curl but Charlie tells herself that at least she's putting her acting and dancing skills to good use. And though her fellow dancers seem eager to nab their sexy, sophisticated, and genuinely caring boss, she's not interested. After all, Charlie Rourke doesn't really exist - and the girl pretending to be her can't get distracted by romance.
Unfortunately, Charlie soon discovers that developing feelings for Cain is inevitable, and that those feelings may not be unrequited - but losing him when he finds out what she's involved with will be more painful than any other sentence awaiting her.

Engaging, Sexy, Addicting, and Simply Amazing!
Four Seconds To Lose was a phenomenal addition to one of my favorite series! From the very first page, this book started strong. It had a totally fresh concept and a very different vibe than the first two books despite fitting in well with the series. I really love it when an author is able to keep a series like this going and still deliver something completely unique each time. Cain and Charlies story was beautiful. It was a story of two people who have grown up in bad circumstances beyond their control and how they choose to overcome it. We never really learned a lot about Cain in the first two books and I must say I fell head over heels for him. Such a beautiful man with a tainted past. I loved that he was such a strong man just wanting to help those around him. Trying to right the wrongs of his past and upbringing. He had so much depth that I really wasn't expecting. I loved learning his back story. Then we have Charlie. I was unsure of what to expect from her; she was an enigma to me at first. But she turned out to be an amazing female character. The strength she shows in you decision-making process was beautiful. The book really kept me on my toes and I found myself biting my nails during a few parts. I love how each story line is different in this series and I adore all the fabulous characters in these books. If you're looking for sexy, heartfelt and well-written New Adult romances, this is a great series to try. I highly recommend all the books.

An honest to God superhero! Captain save-a-ho!!
In spite of myself, I really enjoyed this one. I love Caine! There are so many times and so Many people that I wanted to yell at in this book.
The friends, the Hero and the heroine. She was so naive and in such a dangerous profession that I am not sure how she survived that long.
The angst in this book kept me on the edge of my seat through out.

Good Listen
I loved the first book in this series; skipped the second; based on reviews, I got this one. It holds your interest. I do wish the sexual chemistry was more intense between the characters. That's just a personal preference. The story is good though and I don't regret using my credit for this book. I do love SY's narration skills. Mmmmm.

Romance in a strip club..it totally worked!
Prepare yourself to fall in love with Cain, the strip club owner with a heart of gold. He’s made it his mission in life to help the girls that work at his club. He is such a contradiction, but when his past is slowly revealed you begin to understand his motivation. When “Charlie” comes to his club looking for a job, she immediately reminds him of the past he is trying to forget. Charlie is desperate for job that will earn her some fast cash in order to escape her current and very dangerous situation.
I really liked both of these characters and I enjoyed listening to their love story unfold. This wasn’t all flowers and chocolates (did I mention it’s set in a strip club?) And it had more of an edge to it than the other books.
Overall, great narration and story. 4.5 stars!

Good But Something Missing 3.5 stars
Four Seconds to Lose begins when Charlie goes to Penny's to try to get a job. She's hiding pretty much everything about herself. And now once she meets her new boss who has an odd reaction to her she isn't so sure working for him is good. Especially when she can't let anyone know her secrets, but he keeps getting close and closer to her! Cain on the other hand feels almost like he saw a ghost when Charlie walked through the door. He also has something's he's kept a secret, and the last person he told looked at him in disgust but then soon lost her life by a crazy person. These are two damaged souls running from a past they can't seem to escape. But it brings them closer together in the end.
This book was good. I really liked the beginning. But I felt about half way through it sort of started to fizzle out for me. I actually got a little bored with it. Then the ending... It just seemed way to easy to get rid of such a huge threat.. But anyway, I loved characters. Charlie was awesome. She's an amazing heroine, and Cain was just as awesome as she was if not better. He's a really nice guy whose had a hard past, and is trying to make up for a whole lot of things that have happened. And now he's trying to move on with Charlie even though he knows she's hiding a whole lot of herself.
And Penny's... that name is crazy in this book lol! I loved how ironic that was as well. I will say this one wasn't as good as the previous books, but it was still good.

Wow what an Intense Smoking Hot Exciting story !!
Any additional comments?
Cain is a 29 year old strip club owner who has a mission. A mission to save women who pass by his club. I must say that he is a panty-drooling supppper Hot Alpha Male. He's also sweet but at the same time he comes across as a little dangerous and a bit dark. You just have to swoon over him. Charlie Rourke is a stunning 22 year old who needs quick money. Stripping to get it is the fastest way she can think of. Charlie needs it so she can get the new identity and life that she so desperately want's. They both didn't expect to come into each others lives.... they are two broken people with troubled pasts. The attraction between them is intense, something that is undeniable.... It's powerful, Intense, and Raw. This book has everything you need in a great romance novel. It's full of darkness, drama, danger, angst and love with enticing Red Hot Sexy scenes. K.A. Tucker has written a fabulous story and it was extremely well narrated by Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York. So Very enjoyable :)

From the beginning to the end, it had you want to listen. What I love about the book, there wasn't any boring parts, it had you going. It's a must listen too!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Four Seconds to Lose?
Learning the back story of Cain in his life and love story.
What does Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
They were both amazing!!! I love to listen to Sebastian's low voice - very sexy!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, how it's so sad that they are young women today that are involved in drug traffic and pore. We need more of Cain as a owner/boss, help them to become a better person.

Any additional comments?
This is my first book by this author and I will be downloading the others. Fresh story, suspenseful, couldn't turn it off at times. My first time with a book with two narrators. It was odd at first but in the end I think it really made the story come alive.
