This is a fairly well written book. If this is the author's first book then it's impressive. The emotional layering is fairly well written and the narration helps. Yet, if I was simply reading this book, I would have wanted the text to reflect deeper emotions especially pertaining to the hero's emotions and his apology. It's a bit ironic that the heroine ends up apologizing more than the hero does. ....bit annoying considering. The spice is fairly well written and there is chemistry. Even though this is a slow burn romance, it held my attention fairly well.
