Publisher's Summary
She was my foster sister, her luxurious house the only home I'd ever known. I fell in love with Evie before her doctor parents signed my adoption papers.
They threw me out the day they caught us. Now I'm Dr. Jones, so far removed from who I used to be, it seems like a bad dream. I tell myself nothing can touch me. Until I see the residency roster at Alpine University Hospital.
There's only two incoming neurosurgery residents each year. This year it's Landon Jones - and Evie Rutherford.

Loved it!
This book has some very heartfelt and at times heart wrenching parts but Evie and Landon do their best to push through it all and find each other on the other side.

Don't get put off by first chapter
It started off really slow and dry... stalkerish monologue then, like ok. girl from your past, no great recognition from her. where is this going? just stalking?
But finally it jumps back to "the beginning " and by the time you reach Part ll (back to present) it makes a little more sense and the dynamic is changed.
Though I really liked the story in the end, I still think the opening was poorly set up and incongruent to the rest of the book.

even thou I'd read the book
With the performance these narrators gave, I was invited to a whole new experience of this book.
as I mentioned, having read the book before my heart when in broken for the circumstances they'd live and yet Mr Harding and Miss Vincent truly gave voice to the HEA in the end.

Thought provoking
This book really made me mad; the reasons given for decisions didn’t cut it. A book is good when it can elicit that much emotion. Narrators did a great job with characters.

At some point this story broke me!
This is so beautiful and twisted! Landon goes through so much in his life from such a young age that I just didn’t think he’d make it. Evie is beautiful and loving, and kind, and smart. They just fit together perfectly, but their lives go through difficult times and suffer such heartaches. In the end things just work out for them, they just accept things happen and life goes on. WOW!

Fractured Love
Forbidden HighS hook romance that get a second chance 10 yrs later This one tugged at my emotions so much more than the others in the series so far. But I still loved it. If I didn’t love Prince Liam so much in book 1 this would be my favorite. It’s close.
