This was a typical love story, but loved all the “drama” bits. There was a lot, but it all fit together. I just wish we found out a bit more about Jet’s father and why Jet and Ace’s mom’s relationship was broken.
Otherwise, the love story was the perfect amount of cuteness, and sweetness. And the additional parts for the story very well.

I enjoyed this book a lot, there are a cast of characters for sure. I listened to this on audiobook and with 1 hr and 8 mins left I wanted to reach into the book and slap the hell out of a few people, oh the stress! I had to take a break and could only handle a minute at a time so I didn't throw my phone! But alas all ended well, whew 😅

Great story with just the right amount of romance

I'm not a huge fan of high school romance, yet this is the best high school romance I've ever read / listened to. I appreciate the way the author builds layers of theme with her character development. As she presents each character with their flaws and in their own unique place on their journey in life, themes unfold. It seems the relational / emotional layers are well thought out and presented in a logical way. It was impressive that even though the main characters are in high school, they are written with awareness and certain maturity, instead of written in a juvenile soap operish way that is annoying. I do, however, prefer romance with older characters, more spice and some mystery.
The narration was pretty good.

Very glad this was free. I won’t be continuing this series. A lot of contradictory in the writing and the character dialogue.
