Presence for Real People
This book takes on the most complex concepts of being human and does it in a way that is easy to relate to for everyday people. How do we live our best lives in the here and now without worrying and ruminating our lives away? No longer the province of Zen monks, Gina explains how us normal people can bring awareness into day to day life in very practical ways. I read this book right after reading The Untethered Soul, which is, of course, an excellent resource for understanding our human nature and I loved that book as well. But I really feel that Gina’s book provides more practical methods for increasing our awareness and learning to deal with that voice in our heads. She uses everyday examples, makes you laugh at yourself and shows you how to be very kind to yourself as you let thoughts flow and open up to more of life’s experiences.
